We’re delighted to share our November program for The Art Club by Art in Latin America.
This month, we invite you to explore diverse art scenes through a series of unique experiences: an online studio visit with Mexican artist Chavis Mármol, exclusive access to the vernissage of an exhibition at the Peruvian Embassy in Berlin, a roundtable discussion around the show, and complimentary VIP passes to MIRA Art Fair in Paris.
The Art Club was created as a space to connect with the voices shaping contemporary Latin American art, discover new perspectives, and enjoy privileged access without borders. We’re excited to bring you closer to the artists, galleries, conversations, and ideas driving today’s art scene.

November 5th: Private Studio Visit with Chavis Mármol (Online)
In partnership with Latinou, join us for an online visit to the studio of Chavis Mármol in Mexico City.
Chavis Mármol explores the intersections between materiality, identity, and the urban landscape of contemporary Mexico. His work reimagines everyday materials as reflections on memory, resilience, and social structures. In his noted project Tesla Crushed by an Olmec Head, Mármol stages a dialogue between ancestral heritage and modern technology, using the weight of an Olmec head atop a Tesla to question ideas of progress and cultural memory.
This intimate studio visit offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from the artist about his process and influences. He will also share a sneak peek of what he will be exhibiting at Untitled Art Fair this December.

November 6th: Vernissage Archivos de Intención at the Embassy of Peru in Germany (Berlin, Germany)
Join us on the vernissage of the exhibition Archivos de Intención at the Embassy of Peru in Berlin.
Archivos de Intención is an eclectic and visually rich exhibition showcasing the work of seven leading contemporary Peruvian women artists. Though each comes from a distinct background and artistic journey, together they form a lasting creative universe— a “human archive” that records memory, identity, and the passage of time. The exhibition resists algorithmic imagery, instead carrying forms and figures from the past into a transcendent future.

November 7th: Who represents us?: A roundtable on women artists, migration, and visibility of Peruvian artists in a global context (Berlin, Germany)
Join us for a roundtable discussion exploring how Peruvian women artists navigate multiple forms of belonging within their contemporary practices, moving across territories, languages, and cultural contexts.
In an art world that is both interconnected and unequal, their work challenges the boundaries between the local and the global, the intimate and the political. The conversation will also reflect on the role of galleries, independent platforms, and cultural agents in processes of visibility and mediation, addressing the responsibilities and tensions involved in representing and supporting Peruvian women’s voices within international art circuits.

5 de noviembre: Visita privada al estudio de Chavis Mármol (Online)
En colaboración con Latinou, los invitamos a una visita virtual al estudio de Chavis Mármol en Ciudad de México.
Chavis Mármol explora las intersecciones entre la materialidad, la identidad y el paisaje urbano del México contemporáneo. Su obra reimagina materiales cotidianos como reflejos de la memoria, la resiliencia y las estructuras sociales. En su reconocido proyecto Tesla aplastado por una cabeza olmeca, Mármol establece un diálogo entre la herencia ancestral y la tecnología moderna, utilizando el peso de una cabeza olmeca sobre un Tesla para cuestionar las nociones de progreso y memoria cultural.
Esta visita privada al estudio ofrece una oportunidad única para escuchar directamente al artista hablar sobre su proceso e influencias. Además, compartirá un adelanto de las obras que presentará en Untitled Art Fair este diciembre.

6 de noviembre: Vernissage de Archivos de Intención en la Embajada del Perú en Alemania (Berlín, Alemania)
Acompáñanos al vernissage de la exposición Archivos de Intención en la Embajada del Perú en Berlín.
Archivos de Intención es una muestra ecléctica y heterogénea de gran riqueza visual que incluye la obra de siete importantes mujeres artistas peruanas contemporáneas. Caracterizadas por sus diferentes procedencias, recorridos, trayectorias y mundos internos, todas ellas confluyen en un universo creativo perdurable, un “archivo humano” que registra la memoria, la identidad y el devenir del tiempo, resistiéndose a la imagen algorítmica para transportar las formas y figuras del pasado hacia un futuro trascendente.

7 de noviembre: ¿Quién nos representa?: Mesa redonda sobre mujeres artistas, migración y visibilidad de las artistas peruanas en un contexto global (Berlín, Alemania)
Acompáñanos a una mesa redonda que explorará cómo las mujeres artistas peruanas negocian pertenencias múltiples dentro de sus prácticas contemporáneas, moviéndose entre territorios, lenguas y contextos culturales.
En un mundo del arte interconectado pero desigual, sus obras desafían las fronteras entre lo local y lo global, lo íntimo y lo político. El diálogo reflexiona también sobre el papel de las galerías, plataformas independientes y agentes culturales en los procesos de visibilidad y mediación, abordando las responsabilidades y tensiones que implica representar y acompañar voces femeninas peruanas en los circuitos internacionales.
